Areas
Based in Dartmouth. Working across South Devon.
Most of my clients are within an hour of the studio at Capton on the River Dart, so when I say web design, South Devon is the area I mean. Each town has its own page, because each one needs something different from a website.

The towns I work in.
Click a town for what its businesses need from a website, and how I would approach it.
The studio, at Capton.
A few minutes from Dartmouth, in the countryside above the River Dart.

Dartmouth is home and the base for everything. The studio is at Capton, a few minutes from the town, and from here Totnes, the South Hams and Torbay are all within half an hour, with Plymouth and Exeter about an hour each way. Meeting in person for the conversations that deserve it is easy.
The home page is about web design in Dartmouth itself. The town pages here are for businesses elsewhere in South Devon who want to know what I would do for them specifically, not a list of place names with the same paragraph under each.
More about me and how I workWorking together, wherever you are.
The process is the same in person and remotely, and most projects are a mix of both.
- A first conversationBy phone, video call or at your premises: what the business does, who it serves and what the website needs to achieve.
- A plan you can readThe pages, their topics, the content needed and who supplies it, agreed in writing before any design.
- Design reviewed on screenEvery page shown on a phone and a desktop view before it is built, with changes made until it is right.
- Build, test, launchBuilt fast and accessible, tested on real devices, launched with redirects, sitemap and measurement in place.
- Handover and trainingA walkthrough of editing the site yourself, recorded so you can refer back to it.
- Support after launchCare plans, SEO and ads if you want them, from the same person who built the site.
Questions about location.
No. These are the places most of my clients are, and where I can easily meet in person. The process works just as well by phone and video call, and I work with businesses across Devon and the rest of the UK the same way.
No. Meetings within South Devon are part of the job, and most of the work happens by phone, video call and email anyway. Nothing about distance changes the price or the process.
Because businesses in Totnes, Salcombe and Plymouth need different things from a website, and because people search for “web design” with their own town attached. Each page says something true about that place rather than repeating the same paragraph with the name swapped, which is exactly the approach I take to local SEO for clients.
Yes. A set of properly written local pages, a complete Google Business Profile and consistent address details are how one business ranks across a wide area. It is a standard part of local SEO work for trades, caterers and anyone serving more than one town.
